Jeff D. Edge CIP, CFEI
Senior Technical Adjuster
Jeff is a graduate of the Mohawk College Business Marketing Program before achieving his Chartered Insurance Professional designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada in 1993. He is an adjuster licenced in all lines by the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.
Jeff began his Insurance Adjusting career with Adjusters Canada Inc. in 1990 gaining experience in several cities throughout southern Ontario, serving as a branch manager for the company from 1993 through to 1999. He and his family re-located to the beautiful Niagara Region of Ontario in 1999 and have remained there ever since.
Jeff became a member of the Global Technical Services team in 2005 enjoying the challenge of larger and more complex claims investigations in order to broaden his knowledge and experience base.
Jeff's commitment to professionalism, meticulously thorough work ethic, and first rate customer service have earned him many accolades from clients and the insured public over the years and created a strong following of loyal customers. Jeff believes that continual training, learning and refinement of skills are integral to ensuring the best possible outcome for his customers.
Jeff is a long time active member in the Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association Niagara Chapter having served positions on the local Chapter Executive and is a former Niagara Chapter Delegate as part of the Provincial Executive. Jeff currently sits as the Secretary on the National Executive for the Canadian Independent Insurance Adjusters Association (C.I.A.A) and is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator.
Outside of work, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and boys in numerous activities in every season, enjoying an active lifestyle in many facets, particularly on the water.
Patricia Heaney CRM, CFEI
Patricia joined Leading Edge Claims Services in early 2017. Patricia is an adjuster licenced in all lines by the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. Patricia has been an independent adjuster working for national firms since 2008 gaining experience in a wide array of property and casualty claims in a large geographical area. For 5 years prior to working as an independent adjuster Patricia held the role of claims examiner for an insurer during which time she gained an understanding of what insurers require when hiring an independent adjuster.
Patricia holds a CRM and a CFEI designation and strives for personal and professional growth through continuing education both in the field and in the classroom. Patricia has travelled across Canada when disaster strikes to assist clients in their time of need and in doing so has learned that with different communities come different core values.
Licenced in all lines, Patricia investigates all types of property claims including large or more complex losses requiring efficient coordination for best results, and including residential, commercial and industrial losses, Builders Risk, Course of Construction, Multi Unit and High Rise, Institutional, etc. Casualty claims handled include CGL, Wrap Up Liability, Errors and Omissions, Specialty Niche Markets including Guards and Protection Services, Salons and Spas, Sports and Fitness Facilities, etc.
Patricia's loyal customers have come to rely upon her professionalism and courteous service, keen attention to detail, knowledge and thorough investigations conveyed through efficient and timely reporting.
Outside of work, Patricia enjoys spending time with her family and friends and pursues her interest in interior design.
Chris Jolliffe BSc, CIP
Born and raised in the Niagara Region, Chris is a degreed graduate from Brock University in 2013. His studies focused primarily on Biological Studies, Health Sciences and Computer Sciences.
His insurance career began straight out of University, where he sold property, casualty and life insurance. This allowed him to expand his customer service skills and eventually lead to him becoming an independent adjuster in 2014. Chris achieved his Chartered Insurance Professional designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada in 2016.
Chris is a licenced all-lines adjuster with a focus on intensive investigations of property, casualty, and accident benefit claims, all while providing superior customer service to clients.
Since this time he has been working with local and national insurers, acquiring knowledge and experience in a variety of all-lines claims investigations and assessments.
Chris’ health sciences studies began with an emphasis on exercise physiology and rehabilitation, which lead to him branching off and focusing heavily on human anatomy, physiology and generally, the complex inner workings of the human body.
His post-graduate studies have focused on increasing his cyber and technological knowledge. He has successfully completed several courses including CompTIA, network security and breaches, as well as network penetration testing. Previously, Chris was a member of a national team of adjusters devoted to cyber losses.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family participating in numerous functions and activities, while also developing a reputation for being the go-to computer specialist.
